  • fill the form and start writing your own blogs.

  • What is your username using for blog <just sign up>?
  • What is your password using for that blog?
  • What is your blog address <URL to share your friend to access and read your blog>?

Course Aims
 EDUC285 intended to provide a broad understanding of how to use computer and technology in the classroom with special emphasis on developing the practical knowledge to use them effectively as a teacher/educator.


Objective of the development of the course
  • To develop as understanding on how to use technology effectively in instruction within the context of sound education theory and practice.
  • To explore the wide variety of software tools available to help accomplish the many tasks involved in teaching and learning.
  • To explore the Internet and its role in education.
  • To explore various audio and video technologies available to assist in the teaching and learning process.
  • To explore the pros and cons of educational technology.

Course Description
Introduction to applications of technology used for efficient management and effective learning within school environment. Experience gained in the collecting, recording and assembling of electronic data and the use of software and equipment. The course includes philosophical discussion on the benefits and disadvantages of using technology in education.

Evaluation Method
i)        Class attendance behavior and work submission behavior
(1)   Students who miss 20% or more of the class may be required to withdraw from the class. For more information see pp. 48-49 of Asia-Pacific International University Academic Bulletin 2009-2010.
ii)      Project. (20% of final grade) each student is needed to make one movie-clip video including picture, audio, video
iii)    Presentation. (10% of final grade) Each student is needed to present in the class according what they have learnt.
iv)    Assignments. (15% of final grade) Assignment will be assigned during the class. Each student need to finished it before the class end or as due date is given by teacher.
v)      Midterm (15% of final grade)
Final (40% of final grade)
